Bionic Six Madame-O

The evil femme fatale from Bionic Six. In the origin episode, she was an old lady who got turned into a cyborg by the head villain Dr. Scarab.

I thought her original design resembled a wetsuit and scuba mask so I decided to give her an underwater motif along with fish scale like visuals woven into her armor and tubing to further suggest half organic and half machine. I also exaggerated the asymmetrical aspect of the original look a bit more to make her look like a mad creation. Even though she had a sonic harp as a weapon in the original show, I gave her a harpoon gun instead to add to the aquatic sensibility. Plus it's not a common weapon I've seen used by cartoon or comic book characters in the recent years and it makes her seem more deadly.

I had a hard time doing color coordination on this piece because Madame-O's original colors- pink, blue, black, yellow and green clashed with each other. Went through several color tests before finally settling on what you see here.
