Fanart I did for one of my favorite online comic strip. I wanted to have a group shot with as many characters as possible, show their personalities or traits, and to have them interact with one another. To make sure the character are easily recognizable even with my art style, a lot of research was done looking through the strip archive to get the latest design visuals and the correct colors. (The characters are also divided into groups on that piece -- all the Suicide Girl characters are in one area, same with Kenta's Horny Mom, Mike's Left Hand, Madam X, etc,).

Personally, my favorite character is Mike The Jerker (because I've never seen masturbation jokes taken to that extreme) and my favorite storyline is Suicide Girl (the way she was brought back to life was brilliantly done -- using one established character to bring back another established character). In my original e-mail to Clay, I told him: "Sexy Losers is actually one of the very few strips out there on the web that is actually FUNNY." And part of the reason is because it has a good cast of unique and "likable" characters in continuously running stories. Each character do connect in a strange way to another one. And that's why I did a group portrait.

Sexy Losers in my opinion is a smart comic book. Even though The subject matter is very sexual oriented, I find the work itself to be extremely original and creative. What makes it stand out is the fact that stories and characters do follow certain rules set by the creator. And that is an important aspect to why it's a head above the rest. Hats off to you CLAY!
